The definition of ‘revolution’ is as follows.
‘Revolution’: a sudden, radical, or complete change.
b: a fundamental change in political organization; especially the overthrow or renunciation of one government or ruler and the substitution of another by the governed
c: activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes in the socioeconomic situation.
According to the message of the Prophet Micah, there will be a
radical and complete change in this world. Notice:
(1) But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of
the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the
mountains and it shall be exalted above the hills, and people shall
flow unto it. (2) And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and
let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and the house of the
God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in
his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion and the word of the
LORD from Jerusalem. (3) And he shall judge among many people,
and rebuke strong nations afar off, and they shall beat their
swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:
nation shall not lift a sword against nation, neither shall they
learn war any more. (4) But they shall sit every man under his vine
and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the
the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
The institution of war will be abolished,
and the earth’s resources will be
available for all men: this is signified by
“every man will be under his own vine
and fig tree…”
Jesus of Nazareth declared that the kingdom or Government of God is
(14)“…Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the
kingdom of God, (15) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
The bible teaches us that the Government or kingdom of God will cause
a fundamental change in political organization. The world’s present
governments will be overthrown and replaced with a new government,
notice the following passages:
Daniel 2: 44,45
(44) And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a
kingdom [government], which shall never be destroyed: and the
kingdom shall not be left to other
people, but it shall break in pieces and
consume all these kingdoms
[governments], and it shall stand for
ever. (45) Forasmuch as thou sawest
that the stone was cut out of the
mountain without hands, and that it
brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold;
the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to
pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation
(13) I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man
came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days,
and they brought him near before him. (14) And there was given
him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom [government], that all
people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is
an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his
the kingdom that which shall not be destroyed… (27) And the kingdom
and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom [government]
under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints
of the Highest, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and
all dominions shall serve and obey him.
We must agree so far that the bible is teaching of a radical and
fundamental change in political organization, in fact, a complete
overthrow of the governments. The following passage will also prove
that the world governments will not like it.
Revelation 11: 15, 18
(15) And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in
heaven, saying, The kingdoms [governments] of this world are
become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ, and he shall
reign [RULE] forever and ever… (18) And the nations were angry,
and thy wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should
be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants
the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small
and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
The promise to the faithful who seek the kingdom of God is that they
will be partakers in a revolution that will remove the world rulers,
nobles and possess the governments of the world just as we have seen
in the above passages.
(5) Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their
beds. (6) Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-
edged sword in their hand. (7) To execute vengeance upon the
heathen, and punishments upon the people; (8) To bind their
kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; (9) To
execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his
saints. Praise ye the LORD.
The revolution has already begun! God is calling men to repent and
learn how to become citizens in this coming new world.
